RDA is a research + design + architecture office based in Seoul and London, founded by Jinmi Lee and Youngkil Song in 2020. The office aims to create space throughout critical thinking and creative exploration with the agenda, new way of “knowing”.

Jinmi Lee was born in Mungyung si, Korea. After graduating with B.A. from Hongik University she studied in Bartlett School of Architecture (RIBA Part II) and Westminster University (RIBA Part III) in London, and obtained a Ph.D in Architecture from Seoul National University. She worked at Omni Design, KPF London, Zaha Hadid Architects, Piercy & Company and Allies & Morrison Architects. She is a registered architect in the UK. She is currently RDA’s Seoul director and an assistant professor in Hongik University in Seoul.

Youngkil Song was born in Seoul, Korea. After graduating with B.E. from Korea University, he studied in AA school and London metropolitan university. He worked at Yamasaki & Associates, Lab Architecture Studio, John McAslan Architects, Archer Humphryes Architects and PLP London. He is currently RDA’s London director.
